The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong
August 23-24, 2017
Call for Papers
The Asia Pacific Real Estate Research Symposium is co-organized by the National University of Singapore (NUS), the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Tsinghua University (THU). This year’s 2-day symposium will be co-hosted by the Ronald Coase Centre for Property Right Research and Asian Institute of International Financial Law of The University of Hong Kong, on August 23-24, 2017, in Hong Kong.
The symposium aims to promote interdisciplinary real estate related research on Asia and the Pacific Rim. It provides a platform for researchers not only to have an active and intensive exchange of research findings but also to strengthen the links between real estate researchers from Asia and other parts of the world.
The symposium welcomes original research contributions on urban economics, real estate finance and economics. Priority will give to the studies that are relevant to Asia and the Pacific Rim. Up to 12 papers will be selected by the Program Committee for presentation and discussion in the two-day symposium. All papers presented will be independently reviewed for their suitability for publication in a special issue of The Journal of Real Estate Finance & Economics(JREFE).
Stringent criteria will be adopted in the selection and review process to ensure that the quality of the papers will not be compromised. There will be no registration fee and we will provide two-night accommodations for paper presenters and discussants. Please submit your full paper preferably in
electronic format (MS Word or PDF files) to aprers2017@outlook.com before May 1, 2017.
